• When taking medication or using chemical products, be sure to read the label on the packaging in sufficient light and then use it. Using medications and chemicals in the dark can be dangerous.
• When using chemicals and cleaning and detergent products, open the windows so that air flows well through the environment.
• Strictly avoid mixing chemicals such as hydrochloric acid with bleaching products. The vapors and gases produced by this combination are highly toxic and suffocating.
• After using detergents, bleach, scale removers, and drain openers in enclosed, small spaces such as the toilet and bathroom, do not linger in one place under any circumstances, because the gases produced in this environment without proper ventilation are harmful and toxic.
• While using chemicals, be sure to use protective equipment such as long gloves, impermeable shoes, long-sleeved clothing, long pants, and socks.
