The Incident Command System is presented at four levels, comprising ICS 200, 300, and 400, and each level provides specific details of this system, its internal and external interactions, and its operational guides. Given the need of industry and various organizations in the country to learn and implement this management system, the present book has been translated and compiled.   General Objective: The general objective of designing this professional course (ICS-100) is to present introductory material regarding the Incident Command System (ICS). This course serves to familiarize learners with the ICS structure and the basic principles of incident management. ICS 400 Advanced Incident Command System[/caption]   Target Audience: The target audience of this training course consists of personnel involved in the planning, response, and recovery of emergency situations. Various firefighting groups, emergency medical personnel, security groups, police, and other response teams are also included in this group. Specific Objectives: By attending and participating in the training courses provided, the participant should be able to: * Explain the principles and concepts of the Incident Command System (ICS) structure. * Explain the features of the Incident Command System that form the basis of this system. * Explain the various operational areas of the Incident Command System structure and describe the roles and responsibilities of the Incident Commander and the Command section. * Recognize the roles and responsibilities of General Staff personnel in the ICS structure. * Know how to apply the various features of the Incident Command System in different situations.
