Book Review: A Practical Guide to Personal Protective Equipment

Although in most credible occupational safety and health references personal protective equipment is cited as the last line of defense against workplace hazards, this in no way indicates the insignificance of this matter in discussions concerning the protection of workers' health. This is because, if selected or used incorrectly, such equipment can, by creating a false sense of confidence in the user, increase the harm done to the person.
